Rachelle Earwaker is a Senior Economist at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, leading research on the cost of living crisis and its effects on low-income households, while also focusing on housing affordability and quality in the UK. Previously, Rachelle served as an Economist at The Treasury in New Zealand, where roles included coordinating the social sector initiatives for the Wellbeing Budget, analyzing policy proposals in housing, and engaging with government ministers. Rachelle also volunteered as a mentor for the Foundation of Youth Development, supporting youth in achieving personal goals, and held roles in the banking sector at ANZ, providing home lending and business banking services. Rachelle holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Auckland.
