Chad Simpkins is a seasoned leader in the church community with extensive experience in pastoral roles and organizational development. Currently serving as Lead Pastor at The Journey Church since September 2016 and as Founder and Director of the Summer Lunch Bunch Program since January 2017, Chad has demonstrated a commitment to community service and church leadership. Previous positions include Lead Pastor and Operations & Marketing Leader at Varsity Church, Operations Leader & Site Pastor at New Life Christian Church, and Associate Pastor at Princeton Community Church. Early career experience as Special Agent and College Unit Director at Northwestern Mutual provided a foundation in client relations and sales. Chad holds a BA in Ministry with a focus on Youth Ministry from Milligan College and has prior education from Wake Forest University.
