Audrey Anastasia

Audrey Anastasia is an experienced educational and therapeutic professional with a diverse background spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Learning Specialist at The Joy School since August 2016, Audrey is dedicated to fostering a nurturing learning environment. In addition, Audrey has been an Independent Consultant providing tutoring in elementary subjects and teaching creative movement programs since June 2014. Previous roles include first and second-grade teaching positions at Houston ISD and teaching creative movement to children with special needs at River Performing Arts Center. Audrey’s extensive experience also includes roles in psychotherapy, group dynamics training, and curriculum development. Educational credentials include an M.A. in Dance Movement Therapy from Goucher College and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Stockton University.
