Bowen Zhu

Bowen Zhu is an experienced open-source developer currently contributing to The Julia Language, focusing on computer algebra and symbolic computation for mathematical modeling and simulation since 2022. Previously, Bowen served as a Graduate Research Fellow at The Rowland Institute at Harvard, conducting computational analysis of artificial denticle-covered textures in fluid flows. Bowen's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2023-2027), a Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering from Harvard University (2021-2023), and dual Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2018-2021). Additionally, Bowen attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2017 to 2019.
