Stephanie Campbell has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Stephanie is currently the Founder of SF Campbell Consulting, LLC, a position they have held since January 2019. In addition, Stephanie is serving as the Chief Executive Officer for both The Kansas City Beacon and The Wichita Beacon, starting in January 2023.
Prior to their current roles, Stephanie worked as the Director of Impact Strategy at the Taproot Foundation from December 2021 to October 2022. In this role, they were responsible for driving the implementation of Taproot Plus' short and long-term vision. Stephanie also served as the Accounts Director at Taproot Foundation from August 2021 to December 2021.
Stephanie has also held significant roles at LEANLAB Education, where they served as the Vice President of Operations and Communications from February 2020 to July 2021 and as the Director of Innovation Programs from October 2017 to February 2020. In these positions, they focused on building systems, raising funds, implementing process improvements, and telling engaging stories.
Stephanie has additional experience as an Assistant Director - Program Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor at UMKC from June 2016 to October 2017 and January 2016 to June 2016, respectively. Stephanie has also served as a Board Member at Pages & Chapters from March 2014 to April 2015 and as a Marketing Consultant for Freelance Consulting, Database Marketing Strategy from September 2014 to March 2015.
Furthermore, Stephanie has a background in marketing roles at Theater League, Inc., where they worked as the Season Marketing Director from January 2010 to March 2014 and as the Season Marketing Manager from October 2008 to January 2010. During their time at Theater League, they analyzed return on investment, planned and executed marketing campaigns, managed budgets, and spoke at industry conferences and events.
Stephanie's work experience also includes interning as a Special Events Intern at the American Red Cross in 2008.
Stephanie Campbell completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in the years 2013-2015. Prior to that, they graduated from The University of Kansas in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism with a specialization in Strategic Communications. In August 2017, Stephanie obtained a Certification in Online Teaching and Learning from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
