David Churchill

David Churchill is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Director of Governance, Risk and Opportunity at TKAT since September 2023. Previously, David held the position of Director of Opportunity at THE KEMNAL ACADEMIES TRUST from October 2018 to January 2024 and worked as the Head of Post 16 Improvement and Intervention at the Education and Skills Funding Agency from January 2016 to September 2018. David's extensive career in education includes significant roles at the UK Department for Education, Child Poverty Unit, and several leadership positions in policy and strategy from 2003 to 2011. David's educational background features a BSc in Politics, Economics and International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master's in Education from The Open University, and a PGCE from the University of Bangor, complemented by a degree in Languages from the University of Oxford.
