Halle Preneta

Halle Preneta currently serves as an LBIS Research and Reference Intern at Kenyon College and has held various positions including Academic and Ceremonial Events Assistant, Bookstore Assistant, and AIS Scanning/Filing Assistant. Experience includes outreach work with The Kenyon Review, where workshop lesson plans were developed for creative writing, and program leadership at Recreation Unlimited, adapting activities for campers with developmental disabilities. Tutoring in English Language Arts and Math at Mount Vernon City Schools involved supporting a student with autism, while roles in youth programs and previous employment at McDonald's provided valuable skills in teamwork and customer service. Scheduled to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Kenyon College in May 2025, Halle Preneta also engaged in creative writing education through Lake Erie Ink and narrative leadership with Maven Youth.
