Associate Expert at The Key Support Services

Carolyn Unsted is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in school leadership and policy development. Currently serving as an Associate Expert at The Key Support Services since March 2015, Carolyn offers valuable guidance to online school support services. Carolyn is also a Fellow at The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (The RSA) and has held significant roles such as Board Member at The Woodland Academy Trust and the Member of the Board of Trustees at Boundless Theatre. As the Headteacher at Sydenham School from August 2011 to August 2015, Carolyn led the institution to achieve exceptional GCSE and A Level results, marked by an "Outstanding" Ofsted judgment. Previously, Carolyn held senior positions with the London Borough of Bexley and Lewisham Council, focusing on improving educational standards and performance across schools. Carolyn began a career in education policy with the Department for Education, significantly enhancing communication strategies and parental engagement.
