Johnny "J.D." Cargill

Johnny "J.D." Cargill has over 30 years of experience in the marketing and communications field. In 1988, they began their career as an Account Executive at Berneta Communications. In 1994, they moved on to become a Regional Sales Manager at Broadcast Partners, where they managed sales reps across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. In 1996, they were appointed Director of Marketing and Membership at the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. In 2001, they became Principal at The J Group, a marketing and lobbying firm. Finally, in 2009, they assumed the role of Director of Marketing and Communications at The Lanier Law Firm in Houston, Texas.

Johnny "J.D." Cargill attended Tascosa from 1981 to 1984. Johnny "J.D." then attended Baylor University for one year in 1984, studying Business. In 1985, they transferred to West Texas A&M University, where they earned a BA in Marketing in 1988.
