Kelly Fitzgerald

Kelly Fitzgerald joined The Launch Place in February 2015. She is a 2014 recipient of the Young Professional & Community Engagement (PACE) Award from the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce and a native to the Danville-Pittsylvania County region. Fitzgerald most recently served as the Market Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning for LifePoint Hospitals® South Central Market, which includes Danville Regional Medical Center and Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. Prior to that role, she worked at the Institute for Advanced Learning & Research in marketing and information technology.

Kelly Fitzgerald received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Danville Community College (DCC). She earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Marketing Management and Business Information Technology and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech. Recently she graduated from North Carolina State University with a Masters in Business Administration.

She is a graduate of the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Southside program and completed LEAD VIRGINIA, a program that educates proven leaders about regional differences, opportunities and challenges across the Commonwealth.

Kelly serves as past board chair of United Way of Danville-Pittsylvania County and is president-elect of the Southern Piedmont Technology Council Board of Directors. She is a member of the Junior Wednesday Club. She is also a 2015 recipient of Danville Professional Women’s Association Woman of the year award.
