Rebecca Harrington

Co-Founder and CEO at The Leadership Institute

Rebecca Harrington has a long career in healthcare operations and executive management. In 1983, they began their career as the Assistant Director of Operations at UCHealth. Rebecca then moved to Diabetes Treatment Centers of America in 1986, where they served as Vice President of Operations. In 1992, they co-founded and became the CEO of The Leadership Institute (LI), a senior executive membership organization with over 65 of the leading integrated health systems nationwide. Rebecca was responsible for the original planning, development, and implementation of LI, as well as all executive management including strategy, growth and operations. In 2020, they became an Advisor for Incredible Health, and in 2021 they became an Advisor for AKASA.

Rebecca Harrington holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Wellesley College, where they were a member of the TZE Board and the Wellesley Business Leadership Council. Rebecca also has a Master of Science degree from UMass Amherst School of Public Health, which they earned through a two-year U.S. Public Health Fellowship.
