Dean Bannon

Dean Bannon has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Dean most recently served as the Managing Director, EMEA, for The Leading Hotels of the World. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director, Europe, for the same company. Before joining The Leading Hotels of the World, Dean held various leadership roles at Grand Hôtel Stockholm, Sweden, including Commercial Director and Director of Sales. Dean also worked as the Director of Sales Sweden at First Hotels and as a Hotel Manager at Starwood. In addition, Dean served as the Complex Director of Sales & Marketing at Starwood Brussels and as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Sheraton Stockholm. Dean started their career as a Director at Wedgewood South Africa. Dean has proven success in driving revenue, managing teams, and maintaining customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Dean Bannon completed their General Managers Program in Hospitality Administration/Management at Cornell University in the year 2020. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA in International Executive MBA from Stockholm University from 2001 to 2002. Dean also holds a BA HONS degree in Business Tourism, which they obtained from London Metropolitan University between 1992 and 1995.
