Dr Tim Mahlberg

Dr Tim Mahlberg has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr Tim currently holds the position of Director of Ecosystems in South Australia at Stone & Chalk. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Entrepreneurship in South Australia at the same company.

In 2014, Dr Mahlberg co-founded the Australian Catalyst & National Co-founder of The League of Intrapreneurs, a community of change makers focused on driving positive social impact within institutions.

Dr Tim has also worked as a Manager for GRAVITY Challenge at Deloitte Australia, where they played a key role in scaling the program and generating new commercial opportunities for startups and scaleups.

In addition, Dr Mahlberg has held various roles at The University of Sydney Business School, including Sessional Lecturer/Facilitator and Doctoral Researcher. Dr Tim has also served as a Business Mentor at Sydney Genesis, a startup program at the University.

Other notable experiences include serving as the Director of People & Culture and Catalyst in Residence at BallyCara, working as a Community Champion/Mentor at BizBuddyHub, and managing The Village @ NAB, an innovative space for NAB's business customers and community partners.

Throughout their career, Dr Tim Mahlberg has demonstrated a commitment to driving innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating positive social impact.

Dr. Tim Mahlberg completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Sydney between the years 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Psychology, specializing in Organizational and Human Factors, at the University of Adelaide. Dr Tim also holds an Honours degree in Psychology from Flinders University.
