Lore Gruenbaum has extensive work experience in the field of biology and pharmacology. They currently hold the position of VP, Research Therapy Acceleration Program at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society since May 2020. Prior to this, Lore worked as VP, Biology at Gotham Therapeutics from March 2019 to April 2020. They also served as Executive Director of Biology/Pharmacology at Applied BioMath from December 2015 to March 2019. Before that, Lore held various roles at Roche, including Director, Expert Scientist, Biomarkers & Clinical Science, Infectious Diseases from December 2013 to October 2015, and Head of Biomarker and Pathway Analysis, Virology from September 2010 to December 2013. Their previous experience also includes positions at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals as Senior Principal Scientist from July 2009 to September 2010, Principal Scientist from December 2004 to June 2009, and Senior Scientist from July 2001 to December 2004. Lore began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University in 1998.

Lore Gruenbaum earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Freie Universität Berlin, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Later, from 1998 to 2001, Lore Gruenbaum pursued postdoctoral studies in Neuroscience at Yale University.
