Henry Andrews

Openapi Standards & Software Contractor at The Linux Foundation

Henry Andrews has over two decades of work experience in various roles related to software development and quality assurance. Henry started their career in 1999 as a Member of Technical Staff at Quaartz, Inc. In 2000, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Scale Eight and later joined VMware as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer. Henry then worked at Motorola, Inc. as a Sr. QA Architect before joining Riverbed Technology as a QA Architect and later becoming the Technical Director for REST APIs and Web Technologies. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Systems Engineer (REST API Design) at Cloudflare, Inc. Henry then moved to Riverbed Technology again and worked as a Principal Engineer for the SteelConnect Management Plane. In 2019, they began working as a Consultant specializing in JSON Schema and OpenAPI. Currently, they are working as an OpenAPI Standards & Software Contractor at The Linux Foundation since February 2023.

Henry Andrews obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cornell University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In 2016, they attended General Assembly to complete a User Experience Design Immersive program, though no degree was obtained from this experience.
