Hector Medina has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Hector started their career at AIG in 1978, where they held the positions of Inland Marine Manager of The Midwest and later West Coast Property Manager based in San Francisco. In 1987, they joined The Home Insurance Company as Vice President until 1993. From 1995 onwards, they have been with The Loomis Company, where they have held various roles including Vice President, Branch Manager, and Senior Account Executive. Their responsibilities at The Loomis Company involved evaluating and placing insurance coverages for diverse businesses in industries such as contractors, distributors, restaurants, condominium and homeowner associations, ship repair companies, and professional service providers. Hector also specialized in providing property and liability insurance for office buildings and warehouses, professional liability coverage for lawyers and design professionals, and builder's risk coverage for construction projects.
Hector Medina attended The Hotchkiss School from 1965 to 1969, where they pursued various subjects for their high school education. Following that, they enrolled at Yale University from 1969 to 1973, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology.
