Shara Lasky Matlin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Shara started their career in 2006 at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where they served as an Associate Product Manager for Home/Crafts until 2008. From 2009 to 2011, Shara worked at Kenes Group as an Associate Project Manager. Shara then joined ClickTale in 2011 as a Marketing Project Manager, where they stayed until 2014. In 2015, Shara joined Autodesk as a Community Manager and held this position until 2017. In 2019, they worked as a Stylist at Stitch Fix before joining The Luupe as the Director of Production. In their current role at The Luupe, Shara leads the creation of custom content for leading brands, oversees the production lifecycle, and recruits and engages female and non-binary artists globally.
Shara Lasky Matlin began their education at Horace Greeley High School, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. In 1999, they had a short-term experience at Parsons School of Design - The New School. After completing high school, Shara attended the University at Albany, SUNY, from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Fine Art and Photography. Following their undergraduate studies, Shara briefly enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2000-2001. Later on, in 2010-2011, they attended 6B Studio - 6B סטודיו, where they studied Graphic Design.
