Wayne Brubaker

Wayne Brubaker is a Senior R&D Scientist at The LYCRA Company since April 2018, specializing in analytical characterization to enhance the development and applications of LYCRA® spandex. Previous experience includes serving as X-Ray Fluorescence Laboratory Supervisor at Johnson Matthey from April 2016 to March 2018 and as a Senior Research Investigator at DuPont from February 2002 to March 2016, where expertise in elemental analysis by various XRF techniques was developed. Additionally, Wayne held positions as a Research Associate at International Paper and as an NRC Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Wayne's academic credentials include a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and a BS in Chemistry with High Honors from William & Mary.
