Angela Dodson

Angela Dodson is an accomplished journalist and editor, currently serving as Co-Managing Editor at Marcom Weekly since May 2022. As the CEO and founder of Editorsoncall Inc. since 2012, Angela has developed a business focused on providing tailored editorial assistance to clients. Angela is also an established book author, known for "Remember the Ladies: Celebrating Those Who Fought for Freedom at the Ballot Box," published through Center Street Publishing in 2017. With extensive freelance experience as an independent editor and writer since 2007, Angela has edited content for various online platforms and published works. Previous roles include contributor and online editor for Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, contributor for BLACK ISSUES BOOK REVIEW, and senior editorial positions at Essence Magazine and The New York Times. Angela holds an MA in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University and a BA in Journalism from Marshall University.
