Melissa Fountain

Melissa Fountain has been working in the events industry for over 15 years. Melissa started their career as a Promotions Producer at Fox 35 in 2003 and has since held positions at WBOC-TV, YMCA Hagerstown, and WHAG TV. In 2013, they became the Director of Events for What's NXT, a non-profit marketing company in Hagerstown, Maryland. In 2017, they joined High Rock, where they served as the Events & Social Media Strategist. Melissa is currently the Events Manager at The Maryland Theatre. Throughout their career, Melissa has planned and executed events of all types and sizes, from small community gatherings to large-scale marketing campaigns. Melissa is known for their attention to detail and their ability to think outside the box to create truly unique event experiences.

Melissa Fountain studied communications and journalism at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a BA. Melissa also holds an Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Hagerstown Community College.

Melissa Fountain works with Phil Hunt - Maintenance Manager, Mike Fletchinger - Maintenance Manager, and Deb Murray - Bookkeeper. Some direct reports include Cheyenne Herson - Events Assistant, Breanna Holloway - Events Assistant. Melissa Fountain reports to Jessica Green, Executive Director.
