Chris Wallace

Chris Wallace has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Chris is currently a Senior Vice President for Product & Underwriting at The McGowan Companies since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at COUNTRY Financial® as a Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer for MiddleOak from July 2019 to July 2021, and as a Vice President and Regional Underwriting Manager for MiddleOak from October 2018 to July 2019. Chris also has a significant background at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where they held various roles including Business Strategy Director, National Insurance from August 2017 to October 2018, Manager of Underwriting Specialized Services, National Insurance from October 2012 to August 2017, and Underwriting Manager for both the Mid-Atlantic Division from June 2011 to October 2012 and the Major Accounts Division from September 2009 to June 2011. Earlier in their career, Chris held positions as a Portfolio Underwriter from November 2006 to September 2009, an Account Underwriter from October 2005 to November 2006, a Senior Underwriter from September 2004 to October 2005, and an Underwriter from July 2003 to September 2004.

Chris Wallace obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Boston College Carroll School of Management from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors in Marketing from Bentley University between 2001 and 2003. Chris Wallace also holds a certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes CPCU Society, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not available.
