Ming Keng Teoh has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ming Keng started their career in 1980 as an NHS Doctor in the UK National Health Service and worked there until 1986. In 1987, they became a Consultant Surgeon at Kuala Lumpur General Hospital and an Associate Professor at National University of Malaysia (UKM). From 1994 to 2004, Ming served as a Senior Consultant Surgeon and Director of the Vascular Surgery Unit at Singapore General Hospital. Since 2004, they have been the Head of Medical Services - Asia at the Medical Protection Society, where they provide quality medicolegal services and professional support to healthcare professionals in Asia.

Ming Keng Teoh's education history includes several degrees and certifications in various fields. From 1975 to 1980, Ming Keng Teoh attended the University of Bristol, where they obtained an MBChB degree in Medicine. In 2003-2004, Ming Keng Teoh pursued an MSc in Health Management at Imperial College London. Later, in 2006-2007, they attended the University of Wales, Cardiff, where they earned an LLM degree in Medical Law. It is noted that Ming Keng Teoh also obtained additional certifications. In 2004, they obtained the FRCS degree in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England. Additionally, they obtained the ChM degree in Clinical Research from the University of Bristol in the same year. In 2008, Ming Keng Teoh became a Foundation Member Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians England.
