Olivia Parbhunath

Olivia Parbhunath has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Olivia started their career in 2001 as a Medical Technologist at NHLS, where they performed laboratory investigations and was responsible for quality assurance and lab management. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at PathCare as a Medical Scientist, focusing on training and quality assurance. In 2010, they joined Oxidative Stress Research Centre as a QA Lead and part-time lecturer. In 2015, Olivia became a Principal Consultant at LTS Health, specializing in business development and sales of LTS Learning products. Olivia also took on roles as a Business Development Executive and Principal Consultant: Learning during their time at LTS Health. Most recently, Olivia worked as a Business Development Manager at Medical Protection Society starting in 2019.

Olivia Parbhunath completed their Matric at Stanmore Secondary in 1996, with a focus on Science. Olivia then went on to earn a N.Dip in Biomedical Technology from Durban University of Technology between 1997 and 1999. Following this, they pursued a B.Tech in Biomedical Technology from an unspecified institution from 2000 to 2003. In 2011 to 2013, Olivia completed their M.Tech in Biomedical Sciences at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, specializing in the validation of two bioanalytical assays for the measurement of antioxidants in food and beverages. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Quality from Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 2015 to 2016.
