Jillian Moody

Jillian Moody is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and media training. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for The Methodist Church since February 2019, Jillian also works as a freelance journalist and media trainer. Previous roles include interim Director of Communications for the Church of England - Diocese of Oxford, Press Officer at Oxfam, and Senior Media Officer at Lambeth Palace, where responsibilities involved managing media inquiries and writing briefings for the Archbishop. With a solid foundation in broadcasting from BBC News, where Jillian held positions such as Assistant Editor and Senior Broadcast Journalist, Jillian combines extensive media experience with a strong educational background, holding a BA (Hons) in Politics and History from Manchester Polytechnic.
