Winifred Obie Oniah

Winifred Obie Oniah, MD MBA, currently serves as the Family Practice Residency Program Director and Medical Doctor at Methodist Hospitals, a role held since 2010, where responsibilities include providing comprehensive family medicine and leading operations for a 200-bed hospital system. In addition, Winifred held leadership positions such as Medical Staff President from 2020 to 2022 and Chair of the Medical Staff Quality & Leadership Performance Improvement Committee, focusing on enhancing patient workflows and care delivery. Winifred is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine since 2021 and served as an Associate Professor at Meharry Medical College from 2020 to 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Site Medical Director at Indiana Health Centers, Inc., and Chief Resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.
