Brian Kovach

Vice President, Cancer Institute at The MetroHealth System

Brian Kovach has a diverse work experience. Brian started as a Financial Planning Analyst Intern at The MetroHealth System in September 2009 and worked until April 2011. Brian then served as a Financial Planning Analyst, where they analyzed operations and new business proposals from May 2011 to July 2013. Brian was promoted to Senior Financial Planning Analyst from July 2013 to August 2015 and later became the Manager of Integrated Reporting and Analytics from August 2015 to June 2018. From June 2018 to February 2021, they worked as a Principal Consultant at the same company. In February 2021, they became the Managing Principal and Service Line Administrator for Cancer Care until June 2023. Brian also briefly served as an Interim Service Line Administrator for Neuromusculoskeletal from September 2022 to March 2023. Finally, they are currently the Vice President of the Cancer Institute at The MetroHealth System starting from June 2023. Additionally, they also worked as a Building Attendant at Case Western Reserve University from August 2007 to May 2011.

Brian Kovach obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Case Western Reserve University, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Brian then pursued a Master of Science degree in Finance at the Weatherhead School of Management at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Brian obtained certifications including an Emotionally Intelligent Leader Certificate from Case Western Reserve University, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from GreyCampus, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Cuyahoga Community College.
