Spencer Kiser

Spencer Kiser is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in application development and media technology management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Application Development and Lead Developer at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since November 2014. Kiser oversees the design and implementation of Codex, a microservices platform enhancing access to the museum's collection and scholarly content. Previous roles include Media Technology Manager at the same institution, leading mobile product development, and Media Technology Developer at the Museum of Modern Art where Spencer delivered award-winning mobile apps. Additionally, Kiser has held teaching positions at New York University and developed various interactive media projects at multiple organizations. Kiser holds an MPS in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University, alongside other degrees in audio engineering and German language studies.
