Andrew Davison

Andrew Davison has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Andrew served as the COO and Chief Underwriting Officer at The MGIS Companies, Inc., where they oversaw risk assessment and pricing for all products. Andrew also led teams responsible for case implementation and ongoing service functions. Prior to that, they worked at Reliance Standard as the Senior Vice President of Underwriting, where they managed all risk selection, pricing, and medical underwriting operations for group employee benefits. Andrew was also responsible for managing a $1B+ annual premium book and collaborating with Sales and Actuarial leadership. In addition, they held various leadership positions at Hartford Life, including Assistant Vice President of Product Compliance and Director of Underwriting. Andrew managed organizations, led cross-functional projects, and developed compliant client-specific solutions. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Underwriting at UnumProvident, where they managed underwriting teams and support functions for group employee benefits products.

Andrew Davison attended the University of Connecticut School of Business, where they completed The Hartford's Business Mastery Program. Andrew then pursued their MBA in Marketing at the University of Southern Maine - School of Business. Prior to that, they earned a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness and Resource Economics from the University of Maine.
