Roshi Mehdibeigi has a diverse work experience in the field of medical and scientific illustration. Roshi started their career in 1998 as a Research Assistant at UT Southwestern Medical Center and later pursued their graduate studies in the Biomedical Communications Program. Roshi worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant until 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Research Assistant at Albany Medical Center. Roshi then joined The Law Offices of Frank L. Branson as a Medical Illustrator and Art Director from 2005 to 2007. Roshi also served as an Adjunct Faculty of Biology at Dallas County Community College District from 2007 to 2008. Afterwards, they worked as a Research Associate at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2007 to 2010. Roshi then joined UWorld, LLC as a Senior Medical & Scientific Illustrator from 2010 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Visual Information Specialist at the US Navy, Bureau of Medicine & Surgery. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Visual Information Specialist at Defense Health Agency since 2017. Additionally, they have also worked as a Freelance Medical & Scientific Illustrator since 2002.
Roshi Mehdibeigi completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology, Chemistry, and Art from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1998. Roshi also pursued a Year Abroad program in Biology at The University of Sheffield from 1995 to 1996. Prior to their university studies, they obtained a high school diploma from MacArthur High School in 1992.
