Robert Mejia has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Robert is currently serving as the Director of Food and Beverage at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa since August 2022. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of Food and Beverage at Soboba Casino Resort from August 2020 to July 2022. Before that, they worked at Commerce Casino as the Director of Food and Beverage from February 2016 to October 2019. Robert managed the F&B department and was responsible for a $20 million annual operating revenue budget. Additionally, Robert held various roles at San Manuel Casino, including Food & Beverage Director from August 2011 to October 2015, Senior Manager from January 2008 to August 2011, and Food & Beverage Senior Analyst from January 2006 to January 2008. Robert demonstrated leadership, optimized performance, and achieved cost savings through financial analysis, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
Robert Mejia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands School of Business & Society from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including the ServSafe Manager certification from ServSafe Certified in September 2020, the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification from Servsafe in February 2008, and the Training for Intervention Procedures – TIPS Alcohol Certification from Tips Alcohol in January 2006.
