Ryan Reid is currently the Data and Compliance Manager at The Mission Preparatory School. Ryan has previous experience as an Operations and Compliace Specialist, where they assisted teachers in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for 14-17 Autistic students. Ryan was also responsible for reducing negative behaviors for non-communicational students by 50 %, communicating daily activities and summary of behaviors twice a day to parents and faculty, and creating quarterly chart showing differences in positive and negative behaviors for IEPs and BIPs.
Before that, Ryan worked as a Contracting Officer Representative at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC). In this role, they managed 8-10 staff members, as well as a revolving 6 residents ranging from 14-18 years old in a domestic setting, ensuring a safe living environment, providing quality care, enjoyable, and enriching environments to the residents. Ryan also reviewed resident progression monthly through collaboration with social workers, probation officers, therapists, psychiatrists, and other staff members to modify behavioral plans and achieve optimal residency. Under their care, 66% of residents were successfully retained in the facility, creating a program of rehabilitation with the goal of reconciliation with family members/ guardians. Additionally, they graduated 33-50% of residents from high school, transitioning into independent living programs or college. In 2013, they graduated all 6 residents from high school, having clean drug tests and being accepted into college or vocational schools.
Ryan Reid has a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. Ryan also has a High School Diploma and Certificates from Pacifica High School. Ryan is certified as a Chief Business Officer from the Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC).
