Christopher Ching

Director Of Safety And Security at The MODERN Honolulu

Christopher Ching has a strong background in security and safety roles. Christopher started their career as a Security Officer at Marriott International in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Christopher then moved to The Waikiki EDITION where they served as a Security Supervisor from 2010 to 2011. Ching joined THE MODERN HONOLULU in 2011 and held the positions of Security Supervisor and later Director of Safety and Security. In their roles, they were responsible for selecting and managing security officers, training new team members, assigning duties, and maintaining order throughout the hotel.

Christopher Ching completed their high school education at Kamehameha Schools from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on General Studies. Following this, they attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas for their undergraduate studies from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Criminal Justice.
