Ren Thompson

Ren Thompson is a Shared Island Youth Forum Member at the Department of the Taoiseach. They also volunteer as a staff member at Belfast YMCA. Currently, Ren is pursuing a Masters in Conflict Transformation and Social Justice at Queen's University Belfast. With experience in cash management, team leadership, and event management at Mount Charles Group, Ren is also a Research Assistant at Sheffield Students' Union. Ren graduated with a 2:1 with honours in Economics and Politics from The University of Sheffield. Their previous roles include being a bartender at National Trust and a Visitor Experience Volunteer at National Trust Northern Ireland. In addition, Ren was part of the Mount Stewart Conversations Youth Media Team.
