Emily Scognamiglio

Emily Scognamiglio, MPH, RN, currently serves as a Buprenorphine Nurse Care Manager at The Mount Sinai Hospital since May 2023. Prior to this, Emily worked as a Registered Nurse at Virtua Health from February 2022 to March 2023 and held the position of Program Coordinator for the HCV/Drug User Health Center of Excellence at Mount Sinai Health System from February 2019 to February 2022. Emily's experience also includes an internship focused on HIV/AIDS education and training within the same health system. Earlier roles include serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at Erickson Living and Atlantic Health System, as well as participating in an epidemiology internship with the NJ Department of Health, where work concentrated on tick-borne diseases. Emily holds a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from New York Medical College and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Ithaca College, complemented by an Associate's degree from County College of Morris.
