Rashida McWilliams

Rashida McWilliams has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and digital space. In 2018, they started as a Content Installation Support at thunder::tech. Rashida then moved to DigiDems where they held the role of Campaign Tech Specialist from 2018 to 2019, and Deputy Director of Technology from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they became the Cyber Security Training Director at Defending Digital Campaigns. Most recently, they are a Data & Technology Strategist at The Movement Cooperative, starting in 2022.

Rashida McWilliams obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from New York University in 1997. In 2017, they completed a software development course at We Can Code IT and obtained a Certificate of Completion from Project Code - New York Public Library Tech Connect in HTML5/CSS3. Additionally, in 2017, they obtained a Microsoft Technology Associate: Software Development Fundamentals from Microsoft and a Software Development Certificate from We Can Code IT. Rashida is also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson from New York State.
