Aurora Hernandez

Aurora Hernandez is a versatile theater professional with extensive experience in teaching, costume design, and performance. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist at Oregon Children's Theatre, Aurora develops and teaches theater curriculum while fostering self-confidence and creativity in young artists. At Artists Repertory Theatre, Aurora coordinates production costumes and promotes a collaborative environment among coworkers. Aurora's acting roles span various companies, including Funhouse Lounge, The Murder Mystery Company, and American Immersion Theater, showcasing a range of characters and facilitating engaging performances. Additionally, Aurora manages digital media for The Skanner News Group, ensuring effective communication and outreach. Aurora holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Portland and has a strong foundation in costume design and educational program development.
