Thurston Hillmon

Thurston Hillmon is a seasoned marketing associate with extensive experience in sports management and coaching. Since September 2014, Hillmon has been a marketing associate with the Houston Rockets, focusing on promotional efforts and fan engagement strategies. Additionally, Hillmon has served as a basketball coach at The National Basketball Academy since June 2015. Prior experience includes a marketing internship with the Texas A&M Corpus Christi athletic department, where responsibilities encompassed enhancing game attendance and atmosphere as well as managing in-game promotions. Before that, Hillmon worked as a baseball trainer from January 2011 to May 2013, developing young athletes' skills and fundamentals. Hillmon earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Texas A&M Corpus Christi University in 2013.
