Patricia Mullaney-Loss is an experienced professional in the fields of dance instruction, research, and grant management. As an Adjunct Professor of Dance at American University since January 2024, Mullaney-Loss teaches a course in dance improvisation. Currently serving in various roles at the National Endowment for the Arts since July 2021, including Social Science Analyst and Grants Management Analyst, Mullaney-Loss also has extensive experience as a Teaching Artist in Washington DC and New York. A former Research Manager at the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, Mullaney-Loss contributed significantly to data collection and analysis projects. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Government and Politics, both obtained from the University of Maryland.
