Christopher Whiteoak-Medcalf

Christopher Whiteoak-Medcalf is an experienced photographer with a diverse background, currently serving as a photographer for The National since August 2017. In addition, Christopher has been operating Whiteoakpictures as a freelance photographer since April 2007, providing services to notable clients such as Ben and Jerry's, Starbucks, and Nat West. Previously, from July 2007 to October 2015, Christopher worked as a press photographer for Surrey Advertiser, covering a wide range of events, including major local incidents and sports. Christopher's early career includes a role as a sports photographer with SWpix from November 2003 to May 2006, during which photographs were published in major national newspapers. Christopher holds an NCTJ qualification in Press Photography from Sheffield College and has a foundational education from Ranelagh School in Bracknell.
