M Sanjayan

M Sanjayan worked at Conservation International from February 2014 to the present. M held two roles at the company, starting as the Executive Vice President & Senior Scientist and currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer. In their role as Executive Vice President and Senior Scientist, they oversaw five divisions and was a part of the executive leadership team. M had direct access to key partners, donors, and the Board of Directors. Additionally, M Sanjayan also worked at The Nature Conservancy as a Lead Scientist, although specific dates are not provided.

M Sanjayan received a Master's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Oregon in 1991. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Conservation Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, completing it in 1997.
