James Luetchford is the Member Engagement Manager at The Nautical Institute. James leads member outreach, recruitment, and retention efforts, as well as the development of global branches. James manages the Younger Members' Council, Special Interest Groups, and corporate members. James also supports member-led committees and plans member-focused events. Prior to this role, James held positions in executive support, membership and branches management, qualifications delivery, research, partnerships advising, and marine policy and campaigns management. James has a background in environmental sciences, with a degree from the University of Southampton.
