Joris Broere

Joris Broere is a Wetenschappelijk medewerker at the Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau since September 2021, with prior experience as a Wetenschappelijk medewerker at the Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek- en Documentatiecentrum (WODC) from November 2020 to September 2021. Joris co-founded Bureau KBB in February 2020, following a PhD research role at Utrecht University from September 2015 to February 2020, culminating in a dissertation focused on social network structures and trust. Joris has also undertaken a research visit at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, collaborated with the Circular Economy Lab at SMO, and participated in the Complex Systems Summer School at the Santa Fe Institute. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MSc from Utrecht University, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Philosophy.
