Benjamin Tomlinson

Benjamin Tomlinson has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Benjamin is currently working as the Creative Director and Media Team Lead at the Moses West Foundation. Prior to that, they were employed at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they held positions such as Recruitment and Orientation Lead, RF Systems Engineer, Modeling and Simulation Engineer, and Electrical Hardware Test Engineer. Benjamin also founded an ecommerce network and mobile app called The Our Palate Network, which connects consumers with Black Owned Businesses. Benjamin has also worked as a For-Hire Photographer/Videographer for The Gathering Spot, RenderATL, and The Network of Atlanta. Furthermore, Benjamin has interned at General Motors in roles related to advanced propulsion systems and manufacturing and controls engineering. Benjamin also worked as an Electrical Engineering Assistant Lab Technician at Kennesaw State University and as a Quality Assurance Intern at S.P. Richards. Overall, Benjamin's work experience demonstrates their skills and expertise in creative direction, engineering, photography, entrepreneurship, and quality assurance.

Benjamin Tomlinson has a diverse and extensive education history. Benjamin began their educational journey in 2010 at Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, where they obtained their HS Diploma in General Studies in 2014. This laid the foundation for their future academic pursuits.

Following their high school graduation, Benjamin enrolled at Kennesaw State University in 2014. Benjamin pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering, which they successfully completed in 2020. Throughout their undergraduate years, Benjamin demonstrated a strong interest and aptitude in the field of electrical engineering.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills in data analytics, Benjamin enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Analytics, which is expected to be completed in 2023. This program will provide him with specialized expertise in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.

In addition to their formal education, Benjamin has also obtained several certifications to augment their knowledge and skills. These certifications include "Foundations Data, Data Everywhere" from Google, "Data Driven Learning Design" and "Motivating Your Team to Learn" from LinkedIn, and "Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)" from Kennesaw State University. Benjamin has also completed safety training certifications such as "Hazard Communication Safety Training" and "Lockout Safety Training" from General Motors, along with a "Six Sigma White Belt" certification from the Aveta Business Institute.
