Jeffrey Cannizzo

Jeffrey Cannizzo has extensive work experience in the fields of government affairs and project management. Jeffrey is currently the Vice President Government Affairs at The New York Racing Association since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director Government Affairs at the same company from January 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining The New York Racing Association, Cannizzo held the position of Executive Director at New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. from July 2008 to December 2020. Jeffrey also worked as a Project Manager at Razorfish from June 2007 to June 2008 and as a Sr. Project Manager at Dell from November 2006 to May 2007.

Cannizzo's earlier experiences include roles at Lockheed Martin, where they served as a Staff Project Engineer from September 2005 to September 2006, a Senior Project Engineer from September 2004 to September 2005, a Project Engineer from September 2003 to September 2004, and an Associate Project Engineer from July 2001 to September 2003.

Jeffrey Cannizzo attended Le Moyne College from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Jeffrey continued their education at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004, earning an M.B.A. with a specialization in Technology Management. Additionally, they have obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2006. Jeffrey also holds a certification as a Registered Lobbyist from the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics, as well as a Secret Level Security Clearance from the Department of Defense (DoD).
