Challena Gilbert

Challena Gilbert is an experienced professional with a diverse background in financial management, education, and marketing. Since October 2021, Challena has served as a TRS Investment Officer at the NYS Teachers' Retirement System. Prior roles include Accounts Payable Specialist at Stein Fibers, Ltd. and FAGE, as well as an English Teacher at CHUNGDAHM Learning. Challena also held a Marketing Manager position at GLOBE and worked as a Resident Assistant at St. John's University, where Challena earned a degree in Spanish Language and Literature with a concentration in International Business. Additional experience includes serving as an Adventure Counselor for the Girl Scouts of the USA and as a Youth Attorney for Centerforce Youth Court.
