Darragh K. Worland has a diverse work experience in the news media industry. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Freelance Writer, Producer, Editor, and Columnist for various organizations including Reuters, FoxNews.com, and Metro Newspaper. They later joined NY1.com as a Writer and Producer from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they became a Senior Interactive Video Producer at MSN for a year. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a DV Camera Instructor in the Digital Bullpen at ABC News.

In 2011, Darragh joined The News Literacy Project and held multiple positions. They started as the New York Program Manager, where they achieved significant growth in the program's reach by developing partnerships and engaging programs for teaching news literacy. In 2014, they became the Vice President for Digital Media/Production and successfully secured grants to create an e-learning platform. They also played a key role in the platform's design and development. In 2019, they took on the role of Vice President Creative Services, where they hosted a podcast and focused on the impact of misinformation on American democracy. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President for Creative Strategy at The News Literacy Project, contributing to the organization's growth and strategic direction.
