Charles Runnells

Charles Runnells is an experienced arts and entertainment reporter with a career spanning over two decades. Since July 1998, Runnells has worked at The News-Press, focusing on music, theater, arts, festivals, and other events in Southwest Florida, contributing to both print and online platforms. Prior to this role, Runnells served as a city reporter for The Progress-Index in Petersburg, Virginia, from July 1997 to July 1998, and as a general-assignment reporter for The Andalusia Star-News in Andalusia, Alabama, from September 1995 to July 1997. Runnells holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Auburn University and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Chattahoochee Valley Community College.
