April Donnelly

Coordinator of Health & Wellness at The Nicholas Center

April Donnelly is the current Health & Wellness Coordinator at The Nicholas Center in Port Washington. April has dedicated their career to helping others and supporting staff members in achieving their goals.

April started their career in 2001 as a teacher and advisor at St. Michael Albertville Senior High School. In 2005, they became Dean of Students and 504 Coordinator, where they worked to ensure that 1200 students had the best educational opportunities possible. April also communicated with parents, guardians, staff, and other social service providers to ensure students' overall wellness.

In 2008, April became Assistant Principal at Blaine High School, where they worked with a team of teachers and support staff to ensure that 3000 students had the best educational opportunities possible. April also worked with the staff development team to provide strong growth opportunities for staff and performed professional reviews with teachers and support staff.

April has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Hamline University. April also has a Master's degree in Education from Bethel University and an Educational Leadership - EdD from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.

Their manager is David Kaufstein, Director of Learning & Social Development. They work with Dominique Baptiste - Coordinator of Learning & Social Development - Westchester, Sara Rahbar - Creative Arts Coordinator - Port Washington.
