George Harris has extensive legal and academic experience, currently serving as a Partner at The Norton Law Firm since August 2020. Prior to this, George was a Partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP for nearly two decades, from 2001 to August 2020, and George held various roles there, including Partner from 1990 to 1996 and Litigation Associate from 1987 to 1989. In academia, George served as a Professor and Director of the Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law from 2004 to 2008, and as an Associate Professor at the University of Utah College of Law from 1996 to 2001. George holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from Yale University, as well as a Master's in Teaching in English from Brown University.
