Nicholas Karlsen

Nicholas Karlsen currently serves as a Board Member of the Artificial Intelligence group at Den norske dataforening (DND) since April 2024. In addition, Nicholas has been a Machine Learning Architect and Data Scientist at Skatteetaten since February 2022. Previous academic roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Disordered Systems and Percolation, as well as Applied Data Analysis and Machine Learning at the University of Oslo from August 2021 to June 2022. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Computational Materials Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from the University of Oslo, and completed a High School Diploma at Almuñecar International School.
